Cosmetic Case of the Mondays: BUXOM Lips

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We were able to finally relax and spend time with friends and family, participated in a walk against Alzheimer’s, caught the new Bond movie, and did a little retail therapy (don’t forget Bloomies Friends & Family end today!), including using my Sephora 20% discount on quite a few goodies!

I added a new lip gloss to my already large Buxom lip collection, as I can’t get enough of them!  I’m such a fan of this entire line, they include some fun colors and are moderately prices compared to its competitors.  There are multiple versions of this popular gloss and I love them all and the color and plump they give!

Buxom Big & Healthy – The original, a pout-perfecting, sheer coverage, shimmering lip gloss.  The subtle tingling reminds you that the plumper is working!  My favorite colors are Samantha (light nude), Katie (pale pink), and I just got Dolly (shimmering plum) from Sephora’s Super Stars gift set.

Big & Healthy Lip Cream - A creamy, pout-perfecting gloss for voluptuous lips.  No shimmer, just a fabulous creamy shine.  My favs of the lip cream are White Russian (nude pink) and I purchased Berry Blast (vivid fuchsia) this weekend and I love it!

Full-Bodied Lip Gloss - An ultra-hydrating, volumizing lip gloss with a smooth, soft-cushion sensation.  This gloss offers the most color of all of the others.  I recently purchased the color OMG (sparkling boysenberry) and I have to tell you I’m so excited about it!  I’ve been really into the berry and wine colors and even though I usually prefer them to be in a matte lipstick, this gloss is ridic!  It’s also been selling out like crazy if that’s at all telling.  I’m also tempted to try out Hot Mama (scarlet) next time I’m in Sephora, i.e. sometime this week.

I highly recommend trying one of these glosses in the near future.  If you want some more color and coverage, you can try pairing it with one of the Big & Healthy Lip Tarnishes (a plump and moisturizing lip stain) underneath.

Here’s to a plump week!

Xo,

Leah
