Golden Globes Glamour

I love that award season is upon us!  I’m a huge movie buff and I am of course drooling over all of the fashion, so what’s not to love?  Well, Lea Michele’s tan for starters, but let’s focus on the looks I loved…

Plunging Black: Many celebs were in black on Sunday and a couple of leading ladies really took a plunge!

Katharine McPhee

I absolutely loved Katharine McPhee’s dress, as well as her hair and makeup!

Allison Williams can do no wrong in my book (and you should have seen her from the side and back) and when does Sofia actually look bad?  It just isn’t fair…

Light Mermaids: We saw a lot of light colors on the red carpet, whites and pale pinks, as well as mermaid cuts.  My faves were Amy Adams and it pains me to say it since I typically can’t stand her, but Hayden Panettiere didn’t look too shabby (def the best I’ve ever seen her).

Glitz & Glamour: I love to see a little hardware at an award show and Julianne Hough and Isla Fisher were both edgy and sexy!

Regal Red: I love seeing some color on the carpet and these ones really stood out in the crowd!

Jennifer Garner looked effortlessly gorgeous for hubby Ben’s big night, J. Law’s gown was subjective in the bust department, but it really was glamorous (and I loved the belt), and finally Naomi Watts looked berry stunning in her cutout gown that fit her like a glove!

Black & Gold: Classic and chic black with a twist!

Loving Kate Hudson and happy to see Nicole Kidman look simply stunning!

Honorable Mention: I just wanted to add that Kristen Bell looked beautiful, I only wish I could look like this when I am pregnant!

Hair & Makeup: As much as I think she’s annoying, Jessica Alba’s hair and makeup were flawless!!  Why can’t I look like this? Sigh…

I hope you enjoyed the show and fashion as much as I did!

Xo,

Leah
