Hair Talk

A couple months ago I chopped a good amount of hair off and now sport what would best be described as a lob (although I keep cutting an inch off here and there) and I couldn’t be happier! Whenever I change my hair significantly, I tend to find myself buying new hair products and trying out some new styles. I probably didn’t necessarily need any new products, but I’m certainly loving them and with the Sephora Beauty Insider Event still going on until tomorrow, May 6th, I wanted to make sure I shared them with you! Remember, Rouge members receive 20% off with promo code HEYROUGE, VIB members receive 15% off with promo code HEYVIB, and Beauty Insiders receive 10% off with promo code HEYINSIDER.

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer

If you were to buy one thing for your hair, hands down I would recommend splurging on the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer! This hair dryer truly is a game changer; it seriously cuts down the drying time which ultimately mean less heat which means less damage. My hair has never felt better! I know it’s pricey but with how fast I can now do my hair now, I’ve noticed I’ve significantly cut down how many times I get a blowout which makes the price tag sting less, especially when purchasing it with a discount like you can now! They also came out with an amazing Mother’s Day gift set which includes a paddle brush and detangling comb, in addition to the smoothing nozzle, styling nozzle, diffuser, non-slip mat, and storage hanger. It makes the perfect gift for anyone in your life, especially you!

t3 interchangeable wand

Since I have never been able to use a traditional curling iron without getting a crease in my hair from the clamp, I’ve always used a curling wand to curl/wave my hair and my absolute favorite wand is the T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand Set. It comes with 3 different wands to accomplish different styles: waves, spiraled curls, and large loose waves. It is currently on sale for $250 (regularly $300) PLUS your Sephora Beauty Insider savings (10,15, or 20% off) on top of that! Alternatively, if you’re looking to just test out/play around with a wand because you’re not sure how much you’d use one and would be interested in something cheaper I would definitely recommend the Kristin Ess Soft Wave Pivoting Wand Curling Iron from Target, which obviously isn’t from Sephora but I want to make sure I offer items at varying price points and this one is currently on sale AND Target’s currently offering a $5 gift card with every $20 purchase with the promo code BEAUTY.

Kerastase Reflection Sulfate Free Shampoo for Color-Treated Hair

During Sephora’s sales I like to stock up on items that I typically wouldn’t splurge on and that includes Kerastase hair products, which are amazing but also pricey in comparison to other shampoos and conditioners out there. I love the Reflection Sulfate Free Shampoo for Color-Treated Hair, paired with the Reflection Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair. Since I of course have an array of different shampoos and conditioners in my shower at the moment, I wanted to share that I’m also a big fan of Alterna Haircare’s Replenishing Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner (good set available!), as well as Alterna’s Multiplying Shampoo and Conditioner.
